The blessing of food at Easter is a popular tradition in many cultures that goes back many centuries. Bring a basket of your Easter food, bread, wine, or whatever your tradition suggests, to be blessed at St. Joan of Arc at 12 Noon.
As we celebrate this month of May in special honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, join us at the St. Patrick Church Prayer Garden to pray the Rosary on Tuesday, May 13th at 6:30 PM.
The Holy Triduum ("three days") is the highest point of the Church Year and culminates in the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the central event of our Christian faith. It is such a big deal that it takes several days to celebrate it properly! Make a point of joining us for ALL the amazing Masses and events!

Divine Mercy Sunday is on the 2nd Sunday of Easter, April 27th. Please join us at 9:30 AM (after 8:30 AM Mass) to pray the 'Chaplet of Divine Mercy' as a community. Join us in prayer, or take time with us to reflect on the boundless mercy of God in our lives. All welcome.
On May 26th we will celebrate Mass at 8:30am and remember all those who have sacrificed for our Nation and lost their lives in war. Light refreshments will be served afterwards. All military, law enforcement, health care, and first responders are welcome to wear their uniforms.

We have made a change in our schedule for Eucharistic Adoration. Starting this month, Adoration will now take place EVERY FRIDAY after the 8:30AM Daily Mass until 10 AM. We encourage everyone to spend some personal time before the divine presence of the Lord in our beautiful chapel. Adoration is also available between 8:30AM and 11:15AM Sunday Mass on most weekends.
The Knights of Columbus (Council 2002) are excited to announce a Free Throw Contest at the St. Joan of Arc Parish Life Center, located at 230 South Law St., Aberdeen, MD. This fun event is scheduled for Saturday, February 22nd. This competition is open to all young people in the community aged 9 to 14.
St. Joan of Arc Legion of Mary is looking for homes who would like to host the "Pilgrim Virgin Mary Statue." Consider participating in this beautiful old Catholic tradition by inviting the Virgin Mary into your home and praying the Rosary as a family.
'Family Mass' (formerly known as 'Alive! Mass') happens on the 1st Sunday of every month at 11:15 AM. Come and join us for an uplifting family celebration ... KIDS: Join the choir - practice in the church at 10:30 AM. Stay afterwards for 'Mardi Gras' downstairs in the Parish Hall.
On Sunday March 2nd, right before Lent begins, we will celebrate MARDI GRAS after the 11:15 AM Family Mass. Come for Mass with the kids, and then stay for the fun!
This year, the Pastorate of St. Patrick and St. Joan of Arc Parish will be partnering and praying with St. Bernardine Parish in West Baltimore, recently merged with FOUR other nearby parishes. Ash Wednesday is not a day of obligation in the Catholic Church but is a great way to participate in a beautiful and ancient Catholic tradition and get your Lenten experience off to a prayerful start. Between our two parishes we will have FIVE Masses from which to choose.
