This Sunday, the Church celebrates "Sunday of the Word of God" or "Word of God Sunday". Sunday of the Word of God was instituted in January 2020 by Pope Francis, and takes place every year on the 3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time.

At the Pastorate of St. Patrick and St. Joan of Arc we will bless bibles at all Masses, and commission our Lectors. We will also reflect on the importance of the Word of God for our lives and faith.
