Eucharistic Ministers assist the priests and deacons in the distribution of communion at Mass. Some go on to bring communion to the sick, the homebound, the infirm, the frail elderly.

To be a Eucharistic Minister you must:

1. Be 16 or older
2. Have received the sacraments of baptism, Confirmation and First Communion
3. If married, must be vailidly married in the Catholic Church 
4. Complete a training program
5. Be formally approved by the Archdiocese before beginning to serve (we will take care of this for you)

Eucharistic Ministers Will...

1. Undergo training to prepare for this ministry.
2. Distribute the Eucharist at Masses, as scheduled.
3. Consider being available for distributing Eucharist outside of Mass as their own schedule permits.

Volunteers Are Needed To...

1. Assist in the distribution of Eucharist, upon completion of training.
2. Fulfill their responsibilities upon being appointed by Pastor.
