Many of our weekly parishioners have become familiar with Mr. Johnpaul Ubah, our deacon-in-training who has been serving frequently for Masses at St. Joan of Arc.

We are proud to announce that Johnpaul is now scheduled to be ordained as a Permanent Deacon for the Archdiocese of Baltimore.  On September 30th at 10 AM, Archbishop William Lori will ordain Johnpaul and 13 other permanent deacons at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen (5200 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21210.)  All parishioners are invited to attend – arrive early as seating may be limited!

Then, on Sunday, October 1st Deacon Johnpaul will serve his FIRST MASS at 11:15 at St. Joan of Arc. All parishioners are invited to attend this joyful celebration, with a reception immediately following downstairs in the Church Hall.

Whether you can join us or not, we ask all parishioners to pray for Johnpaul, his family, and for his fellow deacon candidates, as they complete their final preparations for Ordination.
