Join us this year at St. Joan of Arc for one of our three Christmas Masses to welcome our Lord Jesus with beautiful music, singing and prayer. Christmas Eve at 4PM & 7PM; Christmas Day at 10AM.
Our Parish Office will be closed for the Christmas holidays from Friday, December 23rd to Monday January 2nd inclusive. We will resume normal hours at 8 AM on Tuesday, January 3rd. We wish all our parishioners and friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See you in Church!
On Sunday January 8th we will have our next Parish Faith Formation Event: ‘Come Every Nation.’ Parish Faith Formation is for ALL parishioners, young and old, families and singles! We will have hospitality, music, prayer, seasonal activities and discussion for all ages.
'Alive' Mass is a monthly worship event that takes place at 11:15 AM Sunday Mass after Parish Faith Formation. Young people and families minister at Mass, including our 'Open Choir' for kids Grade 3 to Middle School age. (For your child to sing in the open choir, just bring them to rehearsal at 10:15 AM that morning!)
We are not organizing a Parish trip this year but we invite everyone to consider participating in the annual March For Life in Washington DC on January 20th. You may consider making your own way there, or join a group from another Church. If you cannot attend, please pray for those going and for a culture that respects the value of life in our country.

Parish Faith Formation is for ALL parishioners, young and old, families and singles. We will have hospitality, music, prayer, seasonal activities and discussion for all ages.
After a three-year hiatus our annual Couples Dinner is returning – just in time for St. Valentine’s Day. Treat your beloved to a lovely night out starting at 5 PM Mass with a renewal of vows, followed by cocktails and a catered dinner with other married couples and singles. Celebrate Catholic Marriage with us!
The Knights of Columbus will host a delicious pasta dinner on Saturday, February 18th in SJA parish hall to raise support for our seminarians for the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Tickets are $15 and are available from the Parish Office and after select Masses in January.
'Alive' Mass is a monthly Worship event that takes place at 11:15 AM Mass. Children and families are invited to participate as ministers of the Mass, and music is provided by an intergenerational ministry: the 'Arise' Ensemble, the SJA Voices School Choir and other young people of the parish. NEW THIS MONTH: Open Choir for grade school - middle school kids. Just come an hour early at 10:15 AM to practice.
On Saturday, October 15th, at 10:00 AM, there will be a public Rosary held at Veteran's Park in Aberdeen. We will be praying for Life, and for our Nation. Everyone is welcome. Bring a lawn chair to be comfortable, and a set of rosary beads.
On Wednesday, October 19th, at 10 AM Archbishop William E. Lori will be here for an official groundbreaking ceremony. All parishioners are invited to witness this truly significant moment in the history of our parish.
Prince Of Peace Parish in Edgewood is offering a short series of gatherings that will establish a sanctuary for communication and a safe place to grieve. St. Joan of Arc parishioners are invited too, and welcome to participate.
All parishioners, especially those registered to vote, are encouraged to join us in the Parish Hall after 11:15 AM Mass on October 23rd as we explore how our Faith informs us as American Citizens, in the light of the US Bishops' document "Forming Consciences For Faithful Citizenship." Light refreshments provided.
Wednesday, November 2nd is All Souls Day. We invite all our parishioners to come to a special “Mass of Remembrance” at 7:00 PM, where we will remember all whom we have lost from our parish this past year, and all our friends and relatives who have passed on to life eternal before us.
A FREE flu shot clinic will be held at St. Joan of Arc Parish on Thursday, November 10th from 10 AM to Noon, downstairs from church in the Parish Hall. In addition to the latest influenza vaccine, you can also get your COVID-19 booster shot and pneumonia vaccine. Check here for what you need to bring!
On Friday, November 11th we will have a special mass at 8:30 AM to honor and thank all of our veterans. Active duty and retired military, law enforcement, firefighters and first responders are encouraged to wear their uniforms, while all others are encouraged to wear red, white & blue! Light reception after Mass.
Our next Parish Faith Formation Event will be on Sunday, November 13th and will be “All About Advent.” Come for breakfast, learn about the upcoming Advent season, participate in creating a book of Advent reflections for the whole parish, and stay for another exciting 'Alive!' Mass with our 'Open Choir' for kids Grade 3 - Middle School age.
Our annual Giving Tree is a very popular way to be generous to our local community during the season of giving. Starting November 26 take a card from the tree and buy gifts and needed items for local families and kids in need. Return gifts with card attached by December 14 for distribution. Do you like a hearty breakfast? On Sunday November 27th, from 9 AM - 11 AM down in the Parish Hall, the Knights of Columbus will be cooking up our annual Advent Breakfast.
