A ‘Holy Hour’ is a time of sacred silence, quiet music, and deep prayer and veneration before the holy presence of the Eucharist, ending with traditional Benediction (blessing) of all gathered with the exposed Host. We invite all parishioners and friends to come and take advantage of this special chance to have quiet time with the Lord. All welcome.
Do you like a hearty breakfast? On Sunday December 3rd, from 9 AM - 11 AM down in the Parish Hall, the Knights of Columbus will be cooking up our annual Advent Breakfast. Join us on Saturday, December 9th at 10 AM in the Parish Hall (downstairs in the Church building) for a Continental Breakfast, followed by guided Live Wreath decoration. You will decorate a live Frazier Fir wreath! All decorating materials will be supplied. AND ... you get to keep your wreath for your home decorations at the end of the event!
Join us this year at St. Joan of Arc for one of our three Christmas Masses to welcome our Lord Jesus with beautiful music, singing and prayer. Christmas Eve at 4PM & 7PM; Christmas Day at 10AM.

Join fellow adult parishioners for our Parish Summer Retreat: “33 Days to Morning Glory” – a guided retreat facilitated by Deacon Ray Van Pelt. Our Men's Group is back in session. This year spiritual efforts will be focused on the Knights of Columbus series: “Into the Breach.” This series is a “call to battle for Catholic men which urges them to wholeheartedly embrace masculine virtues in a world at crisis.” All adult men welcome.
Catholic Bible Study with Deacon Ray is for all adults wanting to learn more about the scriptures and their own faith. This year we are excited to be focusing on the Gospel of John. New participants welcome year round. Tuesdays @ 10 AM.

Parish Faith Formation is for ALL parishioners, young and old, families and singles. We will have hospitality, music, prayer, seasonal activities and discussion for all ages.
After a three-year hiatus our annual Couples Dinner is returning – just in time for St. Valentine’s Day. Treat your beloved to a lovely night out starting at 5 PM Mass with a renewal of vows, followed by cocktails and a catered dinner with other married couples and singles. [This event is now postponed to February 26] On Sunday, Feb 12th from 9:45-10:45, Deacon Ray will give a presentation on his amazing pilgrimage with Maryknoll Missionaries to El Salvador and Guatemala last month. This presentation takes place in the Church Hall with hospitality and refreshments provided. All are invited.
The Knights of Columbus will host a delicious pasta dinner on Saturday, February 18th in SJA parish hall to raise support for our seminarians for the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Tickets are $15 and are available from the Parish Office and after select Masses in January.
On Tuesday, February 21st, the Knights of Columbus will be cooking up their Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner. The menu will include Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage and Hash Browns. Dinner available eat-in or to-go from 5 PM until 7 PM downstairs in the Church Hall. Tickets at the door.

Prepare your heart for Easter by coming to our special Reconciliation Service on Tuesday, March 21st, 6:30 – 8:00 PM. A brief service will be followed by confessions. A number of priests will be available, so we encourage everyone to plan to come as opportunities may be limited closer to Easter.
